Kurzman Eisenberg Corbin & Lever, LLP Promotes Three Female Trusts & Estates Attorneys to Partner

Kurzman Eisenberg Corbin & Lever, LLP is pleased to announce that Kara Schissler, Moira Spollen and Wendy Teller have become partners of the firm. All three attorneys are experts in estate and gift planning and represent many of the firm’s clients on significant matters.

“Kara, Moira and Wendy have worked tirelessly and are responsible for helping to strengthen one of the firm’s core practice areas,” said co-Managing Partner Jessica Galligan Goldsmith, who also chairs the Trusts & Estates practice. “I am extremely happy for all of them.”

Schissler joined the firm in 2011, and has significant experience in complex estate administration, estate tax audits, estate litigation, and contested and uncontested judicial and informal accountings. “This is the next step we’ve all worked so hard to achieve and I look forward to building on our successes,” Schissler
said.

Spollen has worked at Kurzman Eisenberg since 2010, and focuses her practice in the areas of estate and gift planning, trust administration, business succession planning and the creation and administration of private family foundations. “The three of us joined the firm right around the same time,” Spollen said, “and it feels great that we’re all taking this step together.”

Teller also joined in 2011, and focuses her practice on estate planning, drafting complex wills and trusts, and representing corporate and individual fiduciaries in trust and estate matters. “Being named partner with Kara and Moira is a huge thrill for me. It’s an important milestone but ultimately it’s about proving ourselves to our clients each and every day,” said Teller.
