Eleven Kurzman Eisenberg attorneys named as Super Lawyers
Kurzman Eisenberg Corbin & Lever, LLP is pleased to announce that 11 of its attorneys have been included in the 2018 list of New York Metro Super Lawyers. The annual New York Metro Super Lawyers list recognizes the region’s outstanding attorneys from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only 5% of attorneys in New York State are selected as Super Lawyers each year, and no more than 2.5% of eligible attorneys (those practicing 10 years or less) are selected to the Rising Stars list.

Jessica Galligan Goldsmith, co-Managing Partner.
Ms. Goldsmith practices in the areas of estate and gift planning, estate administration, planning for closely held businesses and charitable planning. She also has extensive experience representing taxpayers in Federal estate and gift tax audits. Ms. Goldsmith is a Fellow of the esteemed College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). She is also AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, recognized as one of the top Women Attorneys in the New York Metropolitan area and has been selected as one of the Top 25 Attorneys in Westchester County.
Lawrence S. Blumberg, Partner.
Mr. Blumberg focuses his practice on estate and gift planning, estate and trust administration, real estate, business transactions, and tax issues including charitable giving. Mr. Blumberg has been AV-rated by Martindale Hubbell for more than 30 years, and has been selected to the Super Lawyers list for ten consecutive years.
Michael Friedman, Partner.
Mr. Friedman concentrates his practice in the area of estate and trust litigation, including Will contests, contested accounting proceedings, reformation and construction proceedings, the recovery of assets, the removal of fiduciaries, spousal rights, kinship proceedings, and both Surrogate’s Court and Mental Hygiene Law guardianship proceedings. Mr. Lever is also a leading authority on art law, negotiating multi-million dollar sales and purchases by museums, collectors, and dealers.

In addition to his extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Bieber’s practice focuses on commercial disputes and transactions for businesses in the distribution, manufacturing, and construction industries. Richard L. Chadakoff, Partner.
Mr. Chadakoff enjoys a diverse practice representing developers, banks, lenders, and investment funds. He structures complex real estate matters including acquisitions, disposition, leasing, and joint ventures. Mr. Chadakoff is often selected to advise developers in landmark and “trophy” building developments throughout the country, and is perennially included in “Who’s Who Legal-Real Estate”, “New York Area’s Best Lawyers”, and Chambers USA-“America’s Leading Lawyers for Business.”

Mr. Goldman represents some of New York City’s top developers. His practice includes all facets of cooperative/condominium conversion, including representing cooperative and condominium boards of directors (managers), as well as developers and sponsors of condominium/cooperative offering plans.
Stuart W. Berg, Partner.
Mr. Berg is an experienced commercial real estate attorney who represents numerous developers and owners throughout the metropolitan area in acquisitions, financing, and leasing matters. John C. Re, Partner.
Mr. Re, a Martindale Hubbell AV-rated attorney, is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience in the areas of commercial mortgage foreclosures and related loan workouts. He counsels a number of public and private sector clients on matters involving contracts, restrictive covenants, estate matters, insurance claims, and structured settlements. Mr. Re currently serves as a commissioner on the Town of New Castle’s Recreation and Parks Commission, and is actively involved in charitable fundraising activities.
